Haydock Branch Junction, Colas 56113 & 56049 'Robin of Templecombe' 6J37 (14.02 Carlisle Yard - Chirk Kronospan) 19/04/23.
For four days at the end of April Colas ran 'Grids' 56113 & 56049 on the Carlisle - Chirk 'logs' seen here approaching Haydock Branch Junction traversing the up slow.
* With 6J37 being currently routed over the WCML and not the S&C it can on occasions run up to an hour early south of Preston.
It is rare to see it on the up slow south of Wigan but on the 19th of April Warrington power box routed it that way prior to stopping it at Golborne Junction.
