Allerton TMD, BR 08534, 08483 08693, June 1987.
In the BR post steam era Allerton depot and TMD was responsible for maintenance of both shunting and mainline locos in the Merseyside area. Up until 2006 when Kirkdale had a new wheel lathe installed it was common to see class 507/508 EMU's here for wheel turning.
Current ownership is with Northern who maintain and stable their EMU fleet along with some DMU's.
