Sankey Viaduct, Northern 319 380 (09.16 Liverpool Lime Street - Manchester Airport) 25/11/16.
After the previous 'Tesco' shot, I headed over to the Sankey Valley near Earlestown for a couple of images featuring Stephensons 1830 structure, the first Inter-City railway Viaduct in the world.
*Susan and I had a walk here recently and she enquired how many trains had crossed it since 1830? by my estimation and approximations > 10 million!
