Gladstone's Library, Hawarden, Flintshire. The only purpose-built Prime ministerial libray in Great Britain and Now Grade 1 lsted although curretly closed to the public because of Covid restrictions. The library contains Gladstone's personal book collection numbering around 25000 and the building offers residential accommodation in the form of 26 bedrooms for scholars from all over the world. it is hoped that the building will be able to re-open soon. The building was constructed in two phases dating to 1901 and 1906 and it is the work of Chester architect John Douglass of Douglass and Minshull. This is the south front and was taken very early in the morning.
