Edit: I'm calling this a Glaucon Blue and a Life Butterfly!
This was taken in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, at about 5000 feet above sea level, near Lake Spaulding in Nevada County. It was late June, 2020.
After much time and consideration, I'm calling this a Glaucon Blue (Euphilotes Glaucon), which is a rarity and a life butterfly! I also think it's a distinct species and not part of the Dotted Blue Complex, but apparently there's some debate over that.
