Superbloom at Carrizo Plain!
This is at the south end of the Soda Lake, where the sign says "DO NOT USE THIS ROAD". I walked along it a ways and the ground was oddly soft, I can believe people have gotten stuck there. So see the Superbloom while you can, LIKE NOW, but be careful about road conditions.
These flowers seem to be mostly tidy tips and goldfields, but up in the Temblor range in the background the yellow is mostly a kind of daisy.
