We was breaking Ice in the Fram straight when we came over a big polar bear that was eating this seal. When we came closer the polar bear ran away. Then this fearless(and probably young) bear came swimming and started eating at the seal. While we was close the big polar bear was standing at a distance and watching the other one eating his dinner, but what happened after we left, noone knows.
With this picture i Won a fotocontest in 2009 and the picture have been used on the frontpage of the magasine Navigare that was printed in 15000 copies.
