This planet is a miracle of beauty .... and once again, this year, like every year for the last two decades, I vow to do everything I can to protect Nature, the mother of us all. Together we can create solutions to a sustainable future, which of course is not an easy task, but a worthwhile one, for sure. Conscientious human ingenuity - of our engineers and progressive entrepreneurs - in service to the whole, will lead the way. Consumers, ultimately, are the ones who drive the shifts in paradigms, so we have a lot of power in our hands to create good, and in countries where we have the right to vote and be heard, we can also support legislation and representatives that contribute to sustainability.
This handheld photo was actually taken in March of 2007 in Menton, during the last night of the Fete du Citron - the Lemon Festival. We were watching the show from our balcony, and couldn't resist trying to capture the excitement.
