Design Motifs, Quillwork on Bark

Three intriguing objects, mistakenly identified as 'leg shields' but obviously some sort of Micmac-Victoria quilled novelty-exactly what type remains to be determined. The moose motif, at the top, is rare in quill work. The other two designs are the eight-legged star-fish and the 'fylfot'.
