Yesterday's dinner.

 

It was going to be a simple chicken fricassée served with cheesy mashed potatoes. But, ended up with both of us having time in the kitchen to turn it into a chicken and cheesy potato pie.

 

Graham did most of it until it came to the white sauce, which I turned into a cheese sauce. All into the oven dish, cheesy mash on the top with a sprinkling of grated cheese over it. Could have done with a bit longer under the grill, but we've got the other half for tonight, so maybe it'll brown a bit more.
