A Dove for Yvonne.
A Collared Dove and an update:
The surgeon has removed the whole of the tumour cleanly and Yvonne hasn't had to be fitted with a colostomy bag (lucky her).
She's still in ICU due to her age and having had a full anaesthetic. Evelyne told me this morning that Yvonne is sometimes fully with the family - one visitor at a time, and then others spaced out. But, she is on a high dose of morphine.
They are talking of sending her to a convalescent home when she can be released from hospital, but Evelyne would prefer her to come home and have extra care here. Being able to see her doves and flowers, will do her far more good.
