Lone Dear at Milnthorpe
A single deer can be seen in this shot of a tall tree on an estate near Milnthorpe in the Lake District in May 2007. There was a large herd of them here but although I was being as quiet as a mouse they must have got wind that I was nearby and most of them legged it by the time I got into a good position to photograph them but this one stayed long enough for me to get an half decent shot.
