Custom switch

WARNING: cut Legos in picture :/

 

I have been trying to come up with a more steam-friendly switch design, and this is how far I've gotten. The two pieces to the at left slide left ad right.

 

Downsides:

Lots of cutting

Currently, track spacing at the right is 4 studs not the standard 8, Although I think 4 is more realistic for 6-wide models

Th full thing Is one track length longer than regular switch

 

 

I can take better/more photos if asked; I was too lazy to take out an actual camera.
