The former Lime Street Picture House/Futurist cinema (1912) and the former Scala cinema (1916).
Both demolished, along with everything else in this photo.
Even the bus stop is no longer in use, and looks like being unused as long as the redevelopment takes place, making OAP's (like me) walk further than passengers on other buses.
Just the latest in the never-ending story of Lost Liverpool.
In the 35 years I've been taking photos, a few books could have been filled.
