Caterpillar D9R Bulldozer
One of Jason's finished models.
A Caterpillar D9R dozer that is built in a "Mad Max" style.
Jason has been asked to write a review of the kit for the Aussie modelling magazine, "Modelart Australia"
This model is huge (1/35th scale) and dwarfs everything else on the model shelf.
The real D9R is used by Israel and the USA. It weighs 62 tons and has a fully armoured cabin complete with bulletproof glass.
Power comes from an inline 18 litre eight cylinder diesel, that produces 460 horsepower. It can push or pull 72 tons!
