BEAUTY is a sweet, talkative, playful young kitty. She thrives in a quiet, low-key environment where she has time to settle in and has plenty of room to explore her surroundings. Once she settles in, she loves to be petted and likes to sit next to you or curl up with you in bed. If she thinks you aren't paying enough attention to her, she'll sit right on the keyboard as you are typing or on the book you've been reading once you set it down. Beauty enjoys looking out the window watching the world go by and giving you "kitty kisses" by playfully grabbing your hand then licking it. Beauty loves swiping then meowing at her favorite toy -- a mouse that chirps back at her! And she goes playfully insane when you bring out her other favorite toy - the laser! If her favorite toys are nowhere to be found, Beauty wastes no time finding other "treasures" to play with -- little bottles of lotion, spoons, bottle caps or tweezers -- anything she can swat at or carry around in her mouth. The world is one big playground for this energetic kitty! Beauty was evacuated along with her newborn kittens (all adopted) by a kind woman who scooped her off the streets as she headed to Northern Virginia, along with her two dogs, ahead of Hurricane Gustav.
