The most famous attraction in South America is without doubt Machupicchu. The old Inca City was built in a stunning location on a saddle between two peaks, just a few hours from Cusco. For years the site remained undiscovered. Its is considered one of the best preserved Incan Ruins on the continent. Machupicchu can be reached by train, either with the Backpacker, Vistadome or the Hiram Bingham train.
