Scarlett Kisses Ripcord

After the HISS V and Deviant make a hasty retreat, Duke and Scarlett enter the base. They find their way to the control room where Recondo and his wife, along with Outback and Ripcord, join Barbecue and Dataframe. Duke smiles upon seeing his unit intact and his mission accomplished.

 

Recondo: The Tucaros will protect us and help us setup an extraction site.

 

Duke: Well done men! I’m glad to see that everything worked out. It’ll be awhile before Cobra will want to show its scaly face in this area.

 

Dataframe: Let’s hope so. Before my virus destroyed their systems, they were developing ‘Transformer’ grade vehicles and converting elite Tucaros warriors into Jungle Vipers! I’m afraid shutting down the cerebro-shells won’t help them… They’ve been changed far beyond that. They were connected to the system, but not controlled by it. They were able to read the minds and control Tucaros too, but not anymore. All in all, I’d still say we gave Cobra a stiff punch in the balls on this one!

 

Barbecue: Hell ya! Now I want some Mac Donalds! Rrrecondo! Get some of those Native bastards to get me some Mac Donalds!

 

Recondo: Might be a little hard in this neck of the woods old buddy.

 

Barbecue: I do ‘na care! I want some!!

 

While the others talk, Ripcord notices that Scarlett is staring at Duke

 

Ripcord: You ok, red?

 

Scarlett pauses before answering. Her time with Duke rekindled old feelings but she knows that she must move on.

 

Scarlett: I’m fine Ripcord. I’m fine…

 

Ripcord: Um, so when you guys first implanted that cerebro-shell, what did you guys read in my mind? Cause whatever it was, I’m sure it was just uhhhh… uhhh…

 

Scarlett: Shut up and kiss me, Rip!!

 

Ripcord: Say what???

 

Duke can’t help but notice them kiss
