Ash aftermath

Seljaland in S-Iceland was hard hit during the volcanic eruption in Eyjafjallajökull in 2010. This was taken in July 2010 and shows the ash covered mountains and a digger at work to widen the riverbed. A comparison with older pictures shows that the mountain used to be green in the summer.
