African Elephant
We just returned from the most incredible trip to Africa! This photograph was my first encounter with an elephant in the wild. We saw so many beautiful creatures, and met so many amazing people. We will surely return!
We took two game drives per day. Each one lasted about 4-5 hours. The first one was at 5am and then 2nd one started at 4pm. Even though we were really close to the animals, it was a challenge to photograph them because of the low light conditions and because they were all in motion. In addition, my nerves were all over the place because it was such an intense experience!
