M4A1 Sherman- Tank Overhaul
One of the projects in my Lego Military Bucket List was to eventually redesign my 5 Old Dark Grey M4A1 Shermans.
What started out as several "small" changes resulted in an almost complete rebuild from the wheels up.
My Shermans were originally heavily based off of the retired Brickmania "Jumbo" Sherman (which was the very first American tank I ever built from purchased instructions.
What Changes were made you may ask?
New rounded and more accurate hull
New bogies
New rear deck (far more accurate to the actual)
Narrowed and completely redesigned turret (now 7 studs wide compared to previous 8 and far more historically accurate)
Lowering of the turret by 1 plate
Redesigned and more accurate gun mantlet.
Addition of rear access engine doors.
C&C welcome.
