1992 Benetton-Ford B192
Pictured is a 1992 Benetton-Ford B192 Grand Prix car.
It was driven in 1992 by seven-times Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher, a sister car being driven by Martin Brundle.
This is the actual car (Chassis 8) that Schumacher drove in the final two rounds of the 1992 season. The car retired with a gearbox failure early on in the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka but ended the year in style by finishing runner-up in the Australian Grand Prix at Adelaide, less than a second behind the winning McLaren of Gerhard Berger.
