Shanghai Dumpling (Xiaolongbao)

It is traditionally steamed in small bamboo baskets, hence the name (xiaolong is literally small steaming basket). Xiaolongbao are often referred to as soup dumplings or simply dumplings in English from the Jiangnan region of China, especially Shanghai.
