Hawley Silk Mill

Today's image is of the old Hawley Silk Mill (formerly the Belmont Silk Mill) in Hawley PA. The silk mill was constructed in 1880 then again in 1894 after the building burned down. The Hawley Silk Mill was constructed of native Pocono Blue Stone and it is considered to be the largest blue-stone "factory" in the world.
