19/6/11 Proto-type Papier Mache Bead TADA365 No:290
I had an idea to make Papier Mache beads and wanted to use some Chinese newspaper that I had hoarded :-) I tore rough strips and used watered-down PVA glue to sitck the newspaper to the bead core. It didn't have the look that I wanted (too untidy)so I experimented with neat scissor-cut strips and this worked far better. Once dry, I used masking tape to help me paint neat lines onto the bead. As you can see, this didn't work at all however I really love the uneven paint lines across the bead so all is good :-)
