7/3/11 Alcohol Inked Acetate and Copper Earring Prototype TADA365 No:96
I have come up with an earring design in which I could use the coloured acetate effectively. The copper ear-wire is in a marquise-style and complements the inked zig-zag acetate (I cut the acetate into a strip and hammered a bradawl to make the holes). I then threaded the acetate strip onto the ear-wire. When worn, the bright colours 'pop' when the light shines through them.
*If I were making these for real, I would use silver for the earring wires and 'ball up' one end and use a crimp bead at the other end to secure the acetate.*
