Rollo

Henry Mercer had a great love of dogs, in particular his beloved Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Rollo .

This lovely statue of Rollo stands at the entrance of The Mercer Museum.

It was after I read this article about Henry, that I decided that I would have probably really been drawn to this rather eccentric, but kind man.
