While walking around my property late yesterday, making sure that everything was as secure as possible before the impending storm, I saw these last few blooms on my rose bushes and cut them to bring inside so that Sandy wouldn't take them.
I have a feeling before this is all over she will be taking a lot more than we could have anticipated.
I want to say a special THANK YOU to all of the firemen, policemen and 1st Responders who will be out there in the storm tonight, trying to keep us all safe from harm.
May the good Lord watch over each and every one of you and keep you from harm's way and bring you back to the safety and love of your families and friends.
