before the darkness

Taken on my last outing with the camera before my world fell apart.

I was sitting by the bridge to Stone Harbor watching the juvenile Black Skimmers hunting along the shoreline as the sun set across the bay.

 

Hi everyone. It's been awhile.

I just wanted to touch base and let everyone know I'm hanging in here.

As I write this, it doesn't seem possible to me that almost 5 months have slipped by already.

My days have been busy.

So much paperwork! It's confusing at times and very overwhelming.

Larry handled EVERYTHING!

Now I am getting a crash course in all things financial and how to handle our assets

Every day is something new!

I do have good friends and advisors though. For that I am grateful!

Having my animals has been a God send. For the 1st several weeks they were the only reason I was rolling out of bed. They make me feel like I have a purpose.

And of course my granddaughter has been my lifeline. Having the kids around is truly the best medicine

I'll get there folks, little by little.

I'm not ready to jump back into Flickr full time quite yet though

But I miss you all and just wanted to send you all a big HUG! XOXO
