Pearl's favorite activity is fetching the ball, and she'll happily do it anytime, anywhere
. But the beach is definitely her MOST favorite place to play.
We usually go to the dog park up near the boardwalk for our playtime.
It's a 1/4 mile walk across the beach from the boardwalk to reach the water. (The widest beaches in NJ!), and sometimes you just don't feel like dealing with the hike or a WET, sandy dog!
The past couple of days however, it's been way too hot to exert ourselves during the day, so we've put play time off until after dinner, when the sun is low in the sky.
Then we've headed all the way down to the ocean, the only place cool enough to play safely!
