When I first started planting up containers for the shore house I was concentrating on my front porch area, so many of the pretty flowers that I was attracted to like petunias and other colorful sun lovers were not good choices. It's too shady there. One year somebody gave me some petunias in a pot, and not knowing what else to do with them I stuck them in the corner of my landing out back here, where I knew they'd get the proper light.
It was then that it dawned on me that this little space had possibilities!
My little sun garden has evolved and it's a nice welcome when you come up the steps.
