Philadelphia's Parthanon

Built in 1907, it is a beautiful example of Greek Revival architecture.
After over 6 weeks on the farm, I REALLY needed to get OUT!
For the past month, the art museum has been lit up in blue light every Tuesday evening as a tribute to our medical workers in the city that have worked tirelessly on the front lines during the pandemic.
I wanted to drive down to the city and take a picture.
Every Tuesday this month has been nasty out, but yesterday the weather was stellar. Since it was the last Tuesday of the month, and therefore the last opportunity to get the shot I wanted, we decided to head down to the city.
We took Kelly Drive, which was actually a pleasant drive (vs. the usually nail biting experience you get driving this stretch of road......those of you that are local know what I mean)
We found a parking spot right in front of Boathouse Row and decided to get out and walk along the river behind the art museum where the Waterworks were. It was right before sunset and we had to kill some time before the museum would be lit up, and it's a pretty place to stretch your legs.
There were a few people out enjoying themselves, but everyone was socially distancing, and most everyone had a mask on. We were able to stay to ourselves and enjoy the fine spring evening!
I was just excited to be ANYWHERE taking pictures!
