She said "YES"!
Larry and I had stopped to photograph an old VW Minibus that had been painted with chalkboard paint. There was a basket of chalk in front of the bus and people were invited to leave messages.
I was around on the other side of the bus snapping away when Larry called to me and motioned me over.
Evidently a young man had just knelt down and proposed to his girl, by writing "Marry Me HW"
Not wanting to intrude on their speical moment, I still managed to get some photos of them hugging and her family (who had been there) congratulating them.
Then I stepped in and congratulated them and said to the bride-to-be, "You never answered him on the bus!", and handed her a piece of chalk.
She knelt next to the bus and put "yes" next to his proposal, and gave me this cute pose with her ring hand.
I gave her my phone # and told her to send me her email, and I'd send along the pictures.
I found out later that nobody else in her family took any pictures, not even with their phones.
She was thrilled to have the moment captured and I was happy to have been of service!
