"I'm home!"
OMG! What a darling Pearl is!
We had a fantastic first night.
The apt. kitchen has an archway to the dining area, and we have it blocked off with a puppy gate.
Last night I set up an air mattress in the dining room right on the other side of the gate.
During the night when she started to whimper, I let her come and snuggle with me.
She slept in the pit of my belly most of the night.
Normally, if I had been in my house, I would have put her in my kitchen, and if she had cried I would have come to reassure her, but not taken her out...she is going to have to learn how to sleep on her own.
My problem here is that the guy that lives in the apt. underneath of us works shift work, and I don't want her whining and barking to disturb him..
Miss Pearl is going to be VERY spoiled I'm afraid, but who could say "no" to that little face I ask you?
