a magical gift

I want to take this time to thank all of my dear Flickr friends that have sent me their prayers and good wishes to get me through what turned out to be a rather tough holiday.

I keep thinking back on all that has happened, and am blown away over and over, by all the little miracles I experienced, even in the middle of the crisis.

God and all his angels were surely looking out for all of us.

Today is the first day I actually feel almost back to normal. My appetite is coming back and I'm feeling much stronger.

Maybe tomorrow I'll actually take my camera out with me when I walk Pearl. I'm starting to get an itch again, to get out there and find the beauty around me.

 

Of course, my FAVORITE gift this season....lol, actually maybe EVER.....was Pearl,

but I simply fell in love with this lovely little light that Larry gave me. It reminds me of my little patch of woods out behind the house.

Next year, when I decorate my newly cleaned and renovated house, this light will find a special place of honor.

 

Hope to start catching up with you all tomorrow......I REALLY miss all your lovey photos, and just catching up on how everyone is!
