Yeah. I know what you're thinking.
"Didn't she say that Larry recently had a hernia operation?"
Yes. I did.
When Larry goes back to the doctor in a few days for his check up, it will be a miracle to me if he finds all his stitches still intact!
Larry has not sat down since he got back from his procedure, which btw, is now outpatient.
They do it laproscopically, so it's a very small incision.
Larry said he was expecting a lot of pain, but except for a little discomfort, the first couple of days, he said he felt fine.
The doctor told him he could do anything he wanted, just limit his lifting to 25 lbs. which really surprised me!
I wanted to hit the doctor over the head for telling Larry he could do that, because I knew it was like telling Larry he could do ANYTHING he wanted.
I've spent the last week watching covertly, and rushing in to grab anything I thought was too much for him to handle, but it was pretty much a loosing battle!
When I saw him down in the wood pile, throwing logs in the cart all I could do is shake my head and cross my fingers that it will all be okay!
