Such a good Momma!
I was so impressed with Sally's mothering skills.
Even though she was little more than a kitten herself, she seemed to know exactly what to do for her kittens.
She was very attentive and protective. I have to laugh now, remembering how upset she was when the kittens finally started venturing away from "the nest" in my closet. She spent a lot of time scruffing them and carrying them back where they belonged. When they started going down the stairs to explore the 1st floor, she about lost her kitty mind!
When they got too heavy to carry anymore, she finally gave up.
