"Why must I endure this humiliation?"
Ozzie was the toughest one to wrangle into a cat carrier. As soon as I scooped him up and attempted to shove him in, he became all legs, feet and claws. I finally had to wrap him in a towel, put the carrier on it's end and stuff him quickly in, like a sausage and slam the door shut before he flew back out.
I only suffered minor injury, one good scratch on my hand before I could get the door locked!
By the time the car ride was over and he was on the dreaded metal table he was sufficiently freaked out and too scared to put up a fight. He succumbed to the strangers manhandling him and didn't give them a fight, and he was anxious to get back in the box when they were done!
