a good omen for my new year
I took a 2nd walk late this afternoon, hoping to see my little red friend. It's been awhile.
I walked through both fields, and was making the turn to go back home when it came trotting out of the woods and trotted across the field. It suddenly stopped when it saw me. I hope this is a female, and she'll den nearby. Hopefully I'll get to see some young ones in the spring.
(the white ground btw, is covering the soccer club put down on part of the field....I think there is seed under there)
