subtle signs
This past weekend we had a little preview of spring, and I couldn't resist a quick walk around one of the fields over at the P.E.R.T.
The trails are sloppy and the landscape is basically brown, but if you look closely you will see the subtle signs of life starting to renew itself, and you'll hear the spring songs that the birds seem to joyfully sing.
I'll bet this little bluebird isn't singing this morning!! Everything is white again!
Only a few inches fell here. The storm, thankfully slipped mostly south of us.
By Wednesday this will all be a distant bad dream. Temperatures will go back to the more seasonable 50's and I can get back out there to visit my little blue friend here, and his wildlife buddies over at the park.
