John Drummond of Stobhall (Perthshire) - John of Scotland, aka João Escórcio. Design for one of the Portuguese panels in the Scottish Diaspora Tapestry, ready for stitching. Designed by Andrew Crummy. Co-ordinators Yvonne Murphy and Gillian Hart. This panel being stitched by Margaret Ferguson Burns and Denise de Mello (Mrs Hogarth). Whole tapestry of over 150 panels, stitched in 25 countries (with more to be added next year) due to be unveiled at the 3 Harbours Arts Festival (Prestonpans, Cockenzie and Port Seton) from 31st May - 8th June, 2014 and exhibited at St Mary's Cathedral, Palmerston Place, Edinburgh during the Edinburgh Festival in August.
