Old Number Three, 0-6-0 Saddle Tank Switcher
Identified as a 1928 Porter 0-6-0 saddle tank engine at the World Museum of Mining in Butte, Montana. It last belonged to Great Western Sugar (the big GW on the cab). This to me is sad. The boiler on this engine is actually sagging! I complain sometimes about old steam engines being "shedded" to the point that you cannot see them, but the alternative—well, this is the alternative, and it's tragic. There is a great deal of wonderfully detailed information on this engine at this link. I am very grateful to have found it.
