Pease Pudding

Pease Pudding hot, Pease Pudding cold, Pease Pudding in the pot nine days old.
Old Rhyme
Never tasted this before, I saw the recipe a couple of weeks ago and thought must try this. It took ages to cook. Four hours at least. Anyway it smells nice I shall slice it and warm it up for lunch tomorrow.
Ingredients Yellow split peas, salt and pepper.
Plenty of carbohydrates and protein in this dish so it would be good vegetarian food.
