Along the Abandoned Runway

The strip where the weeds are worn away is where the car that towed the gyrocopter trainer ran. The unpowered gyrocopter was a two seater so that the instructor rode along. No license was necessary if you had built your own gyrocopter (with motor) and there was gyrocopter activity here over quite a long time. The tow car was a 70's Cadillac convertible.
