Destro's BAT Army
Comic #158 was actually pretty good. No major advances in story, but some nice action in the ol' Silent Castle. Why Mindbender isn't a [Battle Corps] cyborg and why Destro isn't in his IG costume is irrelevant. After 15 years, who remembers, right? I liked this panel where Destro reminds Mindbender how much he doesn't like him. Realized my BATs aren't all that scrappy after all, too.
I thought I might mention, too, that Hama seems to have forgotten where he left off as well. It wasn't really #155, but more like #145 or so; the series wrapped up with a lot of off-shoots and remembrances. Destro seems a lot more normal now, not ultra-evil from the brain scanner. Conversely, Mindbender, who was rather robotic and wicked after his resurrection, is back to a bumbling sidekick. Well, we needed a fresh start. But if everyone (including Snake Eyes) goes back under the brain scanner one more time, I'll probably give up.
