White-tipped Dove

This lovely dove reaches its northern range along the lower Rio Grande Valley. National Butterfly Center, Hidalgo County, Texas.

 

The National Butterfly Center not only has an abundance and splendid variety of butterflies it also hosted two rare birds during our visit, a Varied Thrush and a Roadside Hawk!
