Shadows, but no Cliff Richards
Centennial Park, Tsawwassen.
Back to editing some B&W negatives I recently had processed.
Ilford FP4+
Canon 1000FN with 50mm prime.
Beauty of film is that I have no idea what exposure settings I used at the time!
Scanned the negatives at work on an Epson 550v to 16bit TIFF. Unhappy to discover quite a few of the negatives had scratches from the processor. I guess they're not used or cleaned as well as they used to be! Discovered that hardly any of my usual tools could read the particular TIFF format generated by the Epson scan tools, so used Windows' photo editor to save a copy out which could then be handled by Silver Efex Pro 2, my favourite B&W tool. Before that I used PhotoShop (which could actually handle the Epson file it turned out) to fix up the worst of the scratches and dust spots.
