114/365 - Two Dreams... One Mag...
Dec 16, 2011
Well lookie what I got in the mail today.. The editor of Texas Finest magazine was nice enough to ship me some copies of the magazine that features my car and photography.. It's Mystique's first full magazine feature, so definitely going to find a way to put this in a plaque and on my wall..
This fulfills 2 of my dreams of getting my automotive photography in a nationally published mag, and getting my car in a nationally published mag.. Never thought it'd happen at the same time.
I definitely feel blessed..
Still wanting more features, still wanting more mags.. This has only made me hungrier because now I know it's possible if I just work for it.
My goal is to continue getting better and more knowledgeable about the craft.
I really want to thank those that made this possible... Pedro Murillo, President of DFWLX who introduced me to the editor of Texas Finest Magazine, Long Tran. My G35 brothers who have worked on my car (Stephen Ortiz and Chris Black), I definitely couldn't have done it w/out you guys. The guys at Kustomz Unlimited, (Dick and Khamla) for all the work you've done as well, and William Ho and Wayne Raqueno, who I learned from in the early days.
I have a feeling this is just the beginning for features and there's still big things ahead, but this a MAJOR milestone for me..
Strobist Info:
Canon 430 EX II - 1/2 power camera left through 24" softbox
Yongnuo 560 - 1/16 power Camera right and behind model bare
