Cheltenham: Municipal Offices

Completed in approximately 1835, Cheltenham's municipal offices are regarded as an example of fine Regency architecture. Over sixty three-storey Regency houses lie behind the facade that extends almost the entire length of the Promenade. The central five houses were converted into the municipal offices in 1913-15.

The statue is of Cheltenham born explorer Edward Wilson, a member of Captain Scott's Antarctic expedition.
