On Friday, March 15, Spelman Food Studies Scholars returned safely from spending eight days and seven nights in Dakar, Senegal. All went well.
The scholars were there to examine Black Foodways in Dakar, Senegal, and engage African diasporic communities to understand food practices and food as a marker of cultural identity and socially controversial issues.
